Is there a trope more compelling than The One Who Got Away? I’m a sucker for the notion of the one true love of your life, and to read this dish of a story about the very long road of two lovers to find their way back to each other is just the most delicious treat. Percy and Sam are unforgettable, and I was rooting for them every page, every step of the way.
