HIGH VOLTAGE by Karen Marie Moning by Jean Brashear

Karen Marie Moning never ceases to astonish me with her inventiveness. The breadth and depth of her Fever world is remarkable and breath-taking in its scope. One can never take for granted where she’s going to go with a story, but it’s guaranteed to be all-out in powerful emotion, suspense and high stakes. If you are familiar with Dani, this book at last gives her tortured past a powerful center stage. I truly do not want to spoil this story’s twists and turns and rollercoaster emotions, so suffice it to say that it absolutely rocks and wouldn’t let me go. I’d recommend beginning with the first Fever book, though the glossary in this one does help a great deal. You’d just miss out on a lot of great detail and experiences that are well worth the journey. Kudos to some of the best world-building I’ve ever read! Click here to buy the book!
