I was delighted to get to make my great niece’s first baby a quilt. She picked the theme (sports) and the colors but left the design up to me. I’m not much for following patterns (just the way I write!) so designing quilts is not a smooth process but I do love it!
The sweet little guy is nearing two months old now, and all are in love with him! ❤️
The quilt is beautiful! Something for him to treasure forever!
Thank you so much!
Very beautiful. She will love it!
So nice of you to say so, Ann! It was fun to design and make.
Absolutely gorgeous! This will be a treasure for many generations.
Thank you, Judy!
You did a beautiful job! What a treasure!
Thank you, Linda!
I’m so glad you think so, Linda—thank you!
What a fabulous design, and what a treasure for him to have.
It was fun—thank you!
It was such fun, Shirley!
Beautiful quilt! Can’t wait until the Austin Quilting Guild puts on another show.
Thank you! So much we’ve all missed and look forward to!
Oh Jean that is beautiful. You are so talented.
Janka, thank you! <3
Lovely. Just finished my paper pieced quilt. Tried to copy my photo but wouldn’t work. Going to work on my next project a patriotic quilt. Once again you did a beautiful job.
I’m impressed, Kathy—I’ve only done small paper pieced projects!
WOW beautiful a wonderful keepsake.
Thank you, Debbie!
It is beautiful what size is it and is there a pattern? I have a new grand baby arriving Jan 2022 I would love to quilt one similar
I’m sorry, Melinda, but I designed the quilt myself, creating as I went along, so there’s no pattern to share. As I recall, it ended up about 54×60. I wish I could help more! Congrats on the new little sweetie!
