I’m fortunate to have a gardener husband who raises all manner of goodies, including fresh tomatillos. This recipe comes from a book I absolutely love, and not just because the author included one of my grandmother’s recipes in it! I use this sauce on chicken or cheese enchiladas, but I’ve also used it in salsas, on nachos, in chicken tortilla soup…it freezes well, which is a must for anyone trying to handle nature’s bounty!
